School Safety: Feeling Emotionally and Physically Safe

As educators, we again find ourselves in the aftermath of yet another school shooting. This time in Nashville, TN. In today’s podcast, we try to find some agency over what is, for some, a terrifying part of our jobs as teachers.

Feeling physically and emotionally safe is what we all strive for as human beings. But how can we feel that as these horrific shootings are increasing? We are not sure we have answers, but in this episode, we talk about some ways we can build in some feelings of safety during such trying times.
